Kristina Lewis, Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher

I am a women's wellness yoga therapist, pregnancy yoga teacher and massage therapist. I am passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, birth and in developing cyclic wellness awareness through yoga. These practices have been so useful to me personally and it is my pleasure to share pregnancy yoga, monthly yin yoga Saturday mornings, and private yoga for women's wellbeing sessions.

I work with a therapeutic approach in massage. I specialise in Myofascial Release bodywork and fascial awareness now informs and inspires much of my yoga teaching and massage practice. Within this I am particularly interested in how emotions and past experiences are embodied and held in the body and how touch, breath, movement and awareness practices offer the opportunity to release chronic tension and unhelpful holding and coping patterns. I work in a trauma sensitive and inclusive way in my bodywork and teaching practice, putting your mental, emotional and physical needs at the centre of each session.

I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring Edinburgh's art galleries and vegan eateries. I also love painting, drawing and printmaking in my spare time.
